Island Harvest Essentials Drive - The Firefly Artists

Island Harvest Essentials Drive
Honoring Kevin McNeil

Holiday Season, 2024

Note: Thank you to all who donated to our annual essentials drive for Island Harvest during the 2024 Leg Lamp Lighting. We will continue collecting throughout the holiday season. See below for details, then come on down, share some love and breathe in our beautiful gallery. You may also donate to Island Harvest online here.

This year’s drive honors the memory of Kevin McNeil, a Veteran who never let his physical challenges get in the way of being an incredibly giving person. Island Harvest was one of several local charities that Kevin was committed to. Volunteering for Island Harvest and elsewhere meant the world to him.

Kevin’s passion for supporting his artist friend s made an indelible impact on our gallery. We are grateful to have met him. He is dearly missed.

Help make a difference this holiday season!

The Firefly Artists Gallery is proud to be a part of Island Harvest’s mission to end hunger and reduce food waste on Long Island.

The holiday season can be especially difficult for our food-insecure neighbors. Island Harvest’s Turkey & Trimmings Collection Campaign raises vitally needed funds allowing them to provide a meaningful holiday experience to people who struggle with hunger each day.
Every gift of $35 will help support a holiday meal for your Long Island neighbors.
This year, Island Harvest projects they will distribute more than 17 million pounds of food to hungry Long Islanders through 400 food pantries.
