Kindred Spirits are people who share common interests, values, or even world views. There is a common bond that joins them together. In this case, our exhibition focuses on the bond of art.
Event information
“Kindred Spirits”, an exhibition of artwork by Long Island Art Educators and their present or former students. This exhibition is open to all current NYSATA members K through 12 in Regions 9 and 10 (Nassau and Suffolk County).
Often it’s teachers and current students. Sometimes, it’s teachers and students from many years ago who are now dear friends and colleagues. Occasionally, it’s a retired teacher who chooses to work with grandchildren.
However the combination happens, it’s a delight to see these pairings, the talent they showcase, and the love for art they share.
