Call for Entry “pARTy til the Cows Come Home” (Cow Harbor Day Race 9/21), EXTENDED SUBMISSION DEADLINE 8/10, reception 9/12, 7-9PM The Great Cow Harbor Day Weekend in Northport, NY includes one of the most prestigious 10K runs in the country, as well as a 2K fun run followed by a village-wide festival that includes a parade, vendors and general celebration of our historic downtown, which was once named “Cow Harbor.” pARTy ‘til the Cows Come Home is a juried exhibition celebrating and complementing this Great Cow Harbor Day Weekend. Artworks on the theme of cows and other farm life, as well as works honoring the Great Cow Harbor race, festival and Village of Northport itself will be featured. Eligibility is open to 2D and 3D artwork on the theme of cows, farm life and The Great Cow Harbor Day Race and Weekend, and the Village of Northport, NY. All original media is acceptable, such as drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, collage, fabric work, glasswork, jewelry and digital media.
